Norrkoping has appointed Jens Gustafsson as new manager. Gustafsson takes over after Janne Andersson who leaves to become coach for the national team.
Jens Gustafsson has previously worked in Halmstad and as coach for the U21 national team. He has also been assistant coach in AIK.
Gustafsson has a big responsibility as manager in Norrkoping. He will not only be responsible for team selections but also for which players to recruit and some economic responsibility.
- I am extremely grateful that AIK has agreed that I can be here today, says Gustafsson. He believes that his time as head coach in Halmstad has given him valuable experience for his new role.
