Norrkoping continues to impress in Superettan. After goals from Christoffer Nyman and Ryan Nelson, the team secured a 2-0 victory over Varbergs BoIS. It was Nyman who gave Norrkoping the lead in the 14th minute after a free kick from Noel Sernelius. Nyman met the ball with his head and nodded in 1-0 for the home team. In the 73rd minute, Norrkoping sealed the game after Anton Eriksson played a well-measured long ball that released Ryan Nelson. The Englishman got past Oscar Ekman in the Varberg goal and could then easily roll in 2-0. The win means that Norrkoping took their third straight three-point win and climbs to second place in Superettan. Head coach Eldar Abdulic was pleased with the team's performance and praised Nyman as one of the main reasons for the win. Varberg's coach Victor Salwén believed that his team had opportunities to get a better result. The second half started well for Varberg, but after Norrkoping's 2-0 goal, they lost a bit. Norrkoping could control the game in the final stages and took an important win. Christoffer Nyman was back in the game after missing the last match due to illness and made a good performance. Ryan Nelson's goal was his second in three games and he is starting to show himself as an important player for Norrkoping. Norrkoping will now prepare for the next match against another team in Superettan.
