Jurelius confirms bids and interest for several Norrkoping players

Sporting director Henrik Jurelius confirms IFK Norrköping have received bids for several players and are planning for an Allsvenskan return as early as 2027, with the team currently topping Superettan.

IFK Norrköping sporting director Henrik Jurelius confirms the club has received bids and shown interest in several players. Planning for a top-flight return by 2027 is underway.

The team's strong Superettan season, where they lead the table with 52 points from 24 games, has attracted attention. Jurelius discussed key players the club must now make decisions on, either renew their contracts or sell in the upcoming winter window. He also mentioned SMS contact with a dream signing.

"No one knew who he was, now he's the best in the league in his position," Jurelius said about one of his successful signings.

He acknowledged that some players in the squad are on "very, very high wages" and that in some cases it hasn't been worth the cost. This, along with uncertainty around winter transfers, means "all supporters are very worried," according to the sporting director.

Norrköping are unbeaten in their last five matches with three wins and two draws. They face Östers IF away on Saturday, a team currently seventh in the table.

The club faces key choices to secure a sustainable future in the Allsvenskan. The concrete goal is to be back in the top tier in less than a year.
