A 70-year-old man from Norrkoping has been sentenced for assault after an incident at a restaurant in central Norrkoping. He hit a staff member in the face after being asked to leave the premises. The incident occurred on October 19 last year at a restaurant in central Norrkoping. The staff member approached the man, who was said to be loud, and asked him to leave. In connection with this, the staff member placed a hand on the man's arm and showed him towards the exit. Then came the blow from the 70-year-old man. During the trial, surveillance footage was played showing how the man hit the staff member in the face with his hand. The blow was strong enough to make the glasses fly off and a bruise appeared. The staff member at the restaurant said he had been in pain for over a week after the incident.
